Blue Chip FCU Members: Over the past year, our Board of Directors and Executive Team have been working diligently to plan for growth. While our credit union remains strong and financially secure, we’ve always strived to expand our branches, products, and services to better support your financial goals and enhance your banking experience.
After thorough research and careful consideration, we are excited to share that our Board of Directors has approved a merger with PA Central Federal Credit Union, another strong and financially secure credit union based in Central Pennsylvania.
This merger will allow us to grow faster, giving Blue Chip FCU members access to five branch locations across six Central Pennsylvania counties: Lebanon, Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, Juniata, and Mifflin. Membership will also expand to include anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Central PA.
Additionally, you’ll enjoy a wider range of products and services, making banking even more convenient. While expanding our branch network and offerings independently would take years, this merger allows us to deliver these benefits within a year.

Membership Meeting & Voting Details
Blue Chip FCU will hold a special member meeting on May 28, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Linglestown American Legion in Harrisburg, PA where all members are invited to vote on the proposed merger.
What to Expect:
- Beginning April 11, 2025, members will receive a Merger Notification Letter and ballot by mail.
- All members are invited to attend the Special Member Meeting on May 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. , held at the Linglestown American Legion, to cast their vote in person.
- Members unable to attend in person may submit their completed ballot to any office or mail it to the address provided on the ballot. All ballots must be received by May 28, 2025.

Members will immediately have access to 5 credit union branches located throughout Central Pennsylvania. With the addition of the 3 New PA Central branches, members will also get some extended Saturday hours.
You will also have access to many of the advanced technologies you have been asking for. This includes tap and pay debit and credit cards, instant issue debit and credit cards, mobile wallet (where you can link your account and pay with your cell phone using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay) and Zelle (peer to peer payment transfers). Members will also get instant access to high dividend paying checking accounts plus so much more!

New members are welcome to continue to join Blue Chip FCU at any time before the merger.
We highly encourage you to continue to refer your family and co-workers to Blue Chip FCU.
The products and services available to our members will only get BETTER after our merger.
All Blue Chip FCU Branches will remain open.
Additonally, all current staff members will be retained across all locations.
You can begin to use PA Central FCU Branches after our official merger in 2025.
