Blue Chip FCU Board of Directors: Expanding to an 11 Person Board

Our Blue Chip Federal Credit Union Board of Directors will be expanding from a 9 person Board of Directors to an 11 person Board. We are currently accepting applications to fill the two new positions. Interested members can apply by sending their resume and qualifications to staff@bluechipfcu.org, mail to 5050 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111, or drop them off in person at any branch location. The deadline to submit your resume and qualifications is Tuesday, April 19, 2022.

Applications will be reviewed and then voted on by our current 9 member Board of Directors. The two newly chosen Board members will serve a 1-year term that will expire March 25, 2023. These two seats will then be up for re-election at our 2023 Annual Member Meeting.

The Board of Directors has the overall responsibility of the credit union’s direction, safety and soundness and legal compliance. To meet these responsibilities, the Board works to establish sound policies, retain qualified management and determine acceptable risk exposure levels. Members must be in good financial standing with Blue Chip FCU to serve on the Board of Directors.
